NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY
Newborn Photography is my passion, capturing those beautiful newborn features that last for such a small amount of time is so important. My clients always remark how much their child has changed in the weeks following the shoot and suddenly memories of your tiny newborn fade as you watch your baby grow. Investment in photography allows you to preserve and hold onto these memories forever and enjoy sharing them with generations to come.
Newborn Photography shoots are best to be undertaken when your baby is between 3 days and 16 days old, as this allows me to capture those curled up poses. Booking is recommended from your 20 week scan to secure a session around your due date. As births are unpredictable your due date is a guide, therefore I will advise you to contact me again once your baby arrives to arrange your photography shoot. I take a limited number of bookings each month to ensure flexibility can be offered once your baby arrives.
Upon booking I will discuss your preferences and colour palette for the shoot. I always encourage my clients to consider where you will display your wall art in your home as this will give you some ideas. I love nothing more than capturing newborns with their siblings and parents therefore I always include family portraits at each shoot.
As a photographer, I’m honoured to have received several awards from the prestigious Guild of Photographers for my newborn work. My aim is to create a beautifully styled shoot based on your preferences at booking. All newborn outfits and props are provided therefore there’s no need to bring anything additional unless you wish. Sessions typically last around 3-4 Hours to allow time to stop for feeds and changes. Pre-shoot preparation advice will be sent to you prior to your session and a reminder of any essentials you may wish to bring with you on the day.
