Hi, I'm Stephanie, the owner of Stephanie Taylor Photography.
I started my photography journey 5 years ago when I was gifted my first professional camera. Having always enjoyed being creative I had a strong desire to develop my photography skills. I made the decision to join an evening class at college, initially as a hobby and to meet like minded people but also to develop my knowledge and skills in Photography.
In 2017, I discovered Newborn Photography. As a qualified Midwife I've always had an affinity to working with newborns and families so it seemed to be a natural progression. I invested in training with one of the most renowned newborn photographers in the U.K learning the key principles of safety when posing newborns and using props. After completing my newborn training I continued to develop my craft by investing in training with some of the best photography trainers in the U.K to develop skills in studio lighting, maternity photography and children's outdoor portraiture - and the rest is history!
When I'm not in the studio I continue to work part time as a Midwife in the NHS and love nothing more than shopping, eating out and spending time with my husband, family and friends on my days off!
My home studio is based in Glen Parva, Leicestershire offering Maternity, Newborn, Children's and Family Portraits. My passion is to create beautiful, timeless images that you can treasure forever and love nothing more than to capture family portraits with a newborn.
Sessions available at the studio include Maternity, Newborn posing with props, sitters, cake smash and Mummy and Me.
In addition, I offer outdoor portraiture at a location of your choice around Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland if you'd prefer to capture some seasonal colours in your images.
All sessions are unique and tailored to you, prior to your session there will be a pre-shoot consultation where I will encourage you to think about where you would like to display your wall art in your home. This will allow me to guide you on colours and styles for the shoot that will best meet your needs.
